Sofiya Poland MSc, MCIPS -Group Procurement Manager at Al Masaood LLC one of the top conglomerates of Abu Dhabi, is responsible for managing Procurement and Supply Chain functions for multiple Business units and corporate support of the Group as well as leading a team of Procurement professionals towards Procurement excellence and people development. Sofiya is internationally experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Executive with a proven track record at developing innovative, holistic P&SM strategies and functions which add significant commercial and ethical values.
Sofiya is British national with over 18 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain internationally. Prior to joining Al Masaood, she was working with Etihad Airways as a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager responsible for managing Procurement for the various critical categories for Etihad airlines. Prior to Etihad, Sofiya worked with Proserv Middle East FZE, Strata manufacturing PJSC, B/E Aerospace in mid and senior Procurement and Supply Chain, production/material planning and control roles. Sofiya is proficient in procurement excellency from theory to execution and worked in a most complex procurement transformation projects from process redesign to implementation of critical procurement digital platforms (S2C, P2P, Spend Visibility, Contract Management and SRM)
Sofiya has a Master’s in International Transport Engineering from Azov State Technical university (Ukraine) and in 2018 she became a Member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply MCIPS.
