Lorraine is an enthusiastic Procurement and Supply Chain professional, who has gained a master’s degree in procurement. She has been fortunate to have achieved FCIPS, (Fellow Member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) and has increased my knowledge with further development by achieving CIPS Executive Diploma. In January 2020, she gained FCIOB (Chartered Institute of Builders) achieving Fellow Chartered Construction Managers accreditation. Lorraine is a registered mental health first aider (MHFA) who have supported personnel with their wellbeing in some challenging environments. In 2019/2020 COVID 19 Pandemic, she led an extensive voluntary programme supporting the local community (care homes, schools, homeless shelters) with their PPE challenges. For this work she received a client nomination and was awarded UKCW (Construction Week) Role Model 2020.
Lorraine is a focused leader who believes mentoring, empowering teams, encouraging a questioning attitude and proactive positive behaviors is vital when building high performing teams. She particularly enjoys complex projects, business challenges, change and innovation. Lorraine has been fortunate to have led some exceptional procurement personnel on some prestigious UK infrastructure projects, from concept to delivery. Now privileged to be part of KAFD DMC Procurement Department who are the hub that manages all procurement activities that supports the Company with design, delivery and management of King Abdullah Financial District, one of Riyadh’s most Iconic projects contributing to Saudi Arabia’s 2030 Vision.
