DO I QUALIFY FOR THE CIPS MENA AWARDS?

Entries will be accepted from organisations based in the CIPS MENA region, or with operations and or clients in the region.  The CIPS MENA region covers:

Bahrain Kuwait Niger Syria
Chad Lebanon Oman Tunisia
Egypt Libya Pakistan UAE
Iran Mali Palestine Yemen

Who is judging the awards?

The awards are judged by an esteemed panel of industry leaders and experts, the judging is a rigorous two-stage process including pre-scoring to determine shortlists and a judging meeting where entries are discussed and evaluated in detail to decide the winning entries.

Who can enter?

The Excellence in Procurement Awards are open to members and non members. Procurement teams in both the public and private sector are welcome to apply.

Is there a word limit?

All entries must not exceed the stated word count. The word count does not include the company information at the start of the form or the 100 word overview.

Is there a limit to the number of entries I can submit?

No – you can submit an unlimited amount of entries in multiple categories. For any questions please contact [email protected]

Is there a file upload limit?

All files must not exceed 2MB each. You can upload up to three supporting documents, along with your entry form.

What supporting materials can I provide?

Supporting materials can be provided in Word, PDF or JPEG formats. Zip Files and videos cannot be accepted. If you wish to use video evidence as supporting material, please include a link to the file online in your entry form under ‘supporting documents’.

 

Supporting materials for team categories

You may, if you wish, attach additional supporting material with your entry. However, this must be limited to three single-sided sheets of A4 and should not comprise information that is central to your case – the judges will expect to see this in your main submission.

 

Your supporting materials can include the following:

  • Testimonials
  • Endorsements from colleagues or suppliers
  • Press clippings
  • Performance figures
  • One video clip can be added to supporting documents but it must not exceed 3 minutes

 

Your submission should show how you meet all criteria in your chosen category. For each entry, you will be asked a series of questions that you must answer within the wordcount. Please ensure that you read the category criteria carefully.

 

Supporting materials for individual categories

You may, if you wish, attach additional supporting material with your entry. However, this must be limited to three single-sided sheets of A4 and should not comprise information that is central to your case. The judges will expect to see this in your main statement and endorsement.

 

Your supporting materials can include the following:

  • Testimonials
  • Further endorsements from colleagues or suppliers, CFO or CEO
  • Press clippings
  • Performance figures
  • One video clip can be added to supporting documents but it must not exceed 3 minutes
