The CIPS Middle East Conference and Supply Management Awards 2020 on 30 June 2020 at Rosewood Abu Dhabi has been postponed - new event format or dates to be announced.

CIPS and Haymarket Media Group (who deliver events on behalf of the CIPS) have been closely monitoring the situation with regard to Coronavirus on a daily basis and the welfare of our delegates is always front of mind.

In this instance, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the event to the nearest suitable opportunity in the future or to present this as an online, virtual event.

We have not made this decision lightly but we want to ensure we can provide the best experience possible for attendees. If you have booked on the event your booking will be automatically confirmed for the revised date, or event format, which will be announced as soon as possible.   Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused and we thank you for your continued support. Haymarket Media Group – CIPS Events’ Coronavirus (COVID-19) Policy – Addendums to the cancellation and booking terms

CIPS and Haymarket Media Group (who deliver events on behalf of CIPS) are following the guidance provided by your Government and the World Health Organisation.

At present all CIPS events will continue to take place as scheduled, unless you are notified otherwise. We are closely monitoring the advice and will update our policies in accordance to the advice supplied by the Government and the World Health Organisation.

Haymarket Media Group – CIPS Events’ Cancellation Policy remains in place, unless outlined in the exceptions listed below.

Coronavirus related exceptions to the standard cancellation terms:

Company travel bans and self-isolation:
If you are unable to travel to attend a CIPS event due to a company travel ban enforced by your employer, or if you have been required to self-isolate, based on guidance issued by the UK Government, you may request a free transfer to another CIPS event taking place within the next 12 months. Or to the same event taking place the following year.
The transferred booking must be to the same or lesser value. Please be aware there are no refunds, if the new booking is of a lower value to the original booking. If you wish to attend an event at a higher value, you will be required to pay the difference. You may only defer your booking to a Haymarket run event. 

You must request your transfer at the earliest opportunity and at least 3 working days before your event date by contacting the Customer Services Team for CIPS Events at: conferences@haymarket.com or phone: +44 (0) 208 267 4011

Attendees from outside the UAE:
If you are travelling to a CIPS event from a region that has been identified as high risk and your government (or the government from the country that you reside in, or are travelling from) has advised against travel, we will issue a full refund of any fees paid. You must notify the Customer Services Team for CIPS events of your circumstances before your event date by emailing: conferences@haymarket.com. Please note: We may require you to verify the details provided to us.

‘At risk’ attendees and carers:
If you are unable to travel to attend a CIPS event due medical advice or if you are a carer for ‘at risk’ individuals, in relation to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), please contact the Customer Services Team for CIPS Events at: conferences@haymarket.com or phone: +44 (0) 208 267 4011 to discuss your specific needs.
Alternative options may be provided. Such as; transferring your attendance to another CIPS event taking place within the next 12 months. Or to move your booking to the same event taking place the following year.
