Former Head of Procurement, Faithful+Gould
Rachel Collins was Faithful+Gould’s first dedicated procurement professional. As head of procurement she built up a team and after only 12 months with the company gained senior leadership status. During this time Rachel supported a category management framework approach, implemented a procurement modelling tool for digital enablement, and led the function in two multi-billion dollar projects. Her strengths include a commitment to best practice, innovative thinking and inspiring leadership. Rachel has a commitment to supporting clients and their projects, as well as demonstrating how effective procurement can benefit the region as a whole and help work towards KSA Vision 2030. Entering the profession as a school-leaver, she spent 11 years in the UK before relocating to the Middle East, where she encouraged others to join this exciting career. Beyond her role, Rachel is also founder of the CIPS KSA branch and volunteers at the British International School in Riyadh. After two years at Faithful+Gould and since submitting her application, Rachel has moved on from this role.
Rachel demonstrates the value she has given to the organization excellently, in addition to her role in forming a procurement team and driving that success to achieve a CIPS Award in 2019. She is an energetic and inspiring procurement professional.
